Kitchener-Waterloo NDP invites you to the Annual General Membership Meeting on Sunday June 13, 2pm to 5pm at the Adult Recreation Centre, 185 King Street South (at the corner of King and Allen).

We are thrilled to announce that Irene Mathyssen is our special guest speaker, and that we also have a spoken word performance by the Kitchen Table Poets.

Since being elected as Member of Parliament for London-Fanshawe in 2006, Irene Mathyssen has been the Federal NDP Critic for the Status of Women, chair of the NDP Women's Caucus, and the NDP's Deputy Critic for Public Safety. She also serves as the vice chair of the Standing Committee on the Status of Women.

Irene's talk will start at 2:30pm. It will be followed by a Q&A session, and then by the Kitchen Table Poets.

In the business part of the AGM we will elect our 2010 provincial and federal riding executives. Everyone is welcome to the whole meeting, but only members can vote or be a member of the riding executive.
